Tubano
Created by Remo, featuring a Mondo Type 2 Fiberskyn 3 head made with special lamination for extra thickness duplicating the playing qualities and sound of goat skin or mule hide. Conga-like sound is produced by a "transfer tube" inside the shell. Cutouts around the bottom allow you to project at full volume from a sitting position w/o having to tilt the instrument back.
